South Africa's efforts should be supported.
Mwatana for Human Rights welcomes the decisions of the International Court of Justice against the genocide committed by Israel with the support of the United States and Britain, along with several Western governments. Mwatana considers these decisions as a historic step towards justice.
Mwatana stated that all supporters of human rights, rule of law, justice, accountability, and peace, including countries, institutions, and media, should support South Africa's efforts. South Africa has shown courage and responsibility in leading this path to end genocide and restore hope in international mechanisms concerned with protecting human rights and enforcing relevant agreements and international laws. This support should be parallel to backing the investigations of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, in accordance with their judicial mandate under the Rome Statute and international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
