Run Over by Military Vehicles

Since the outbreak of the armed conflict in Yemen in late 2014, Mwatana for Human Rights has documented hundreds of incidents in which military vehicles have been used to intentionally run over civilians by parties to the conflict. This violation has become a common pattern in various Yemeni governorates. By "running over civilians with military vehicles", we mean the deliberate use of military vehicles, armored vehicles, and troops carriers to target and cause harm to civilians by driving at high speeds and in a reckless manner that disregards traffic rules and the safety of civilians passing by or on the side of roads, resulting in traffic accidents where civilians are injured or killed.
